Gotcha Day!

We all deserve to feel gotten, not forgotten.

Today is January 28. Technically, I am told, this is three days after the actual day I was born. This is also the day on which, one year after my actual birth, I was finally placed, after living in two foster homes and one state-run facility, with my adoptive parents.
